Mannings (Asia) Consultants Limited (Mannings) had the privilege of contributing to the preparation of the Technical Guidelines and Particular Specification for the Structural Use of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC). This important initiative was led by the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD), Hong Kong SAR Government, in collaboration with the Building Technology Research Institute (BTRi), Professor C.S. Poon and Professor Y. Huang of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Our involvement reflects Mannings’ commitment to technical excellence, helping to establish design standards and best practices that foster innovation and the creative application of new materials in the construction industry.
Mannings is proud to have served as consultant on this project, providing technical input and drafting support for the guidelines and specifications. We worked closely with members of the UHPC Working Group from CEDD, BTRi and PolyU. This collaboration will undoubtedly advance the adoption of UHPC in Hong Kong, across the Greater Bay Area and beyond.
